Youth (CCY) Section
Camping Club Youth is the Club’s Section for 12 to 17 year olds, introducing you to all the adventures you can have while camping in the great outdoors. There’s so much more to Camping than you may think: spending time in the countryside, taking part in activities and learning how to be independent in the great outdoors. You’ll have some great laughs and make lots of friends with like-minded people.
The Club’s Youth Groups are all over the country, attached to our local District Associations or Special Interest Sections. Our Youth Leaders organise many camping and activity weekends. You will also learn practical camping skills such as selecting the best campsites, pitching tents, cooking, map reading and first aid. You will also get the chance to work towards, and take, your National Youth Test, which is designed to help you camp safely and with skill and is a real achievement for any young camper.
An annual highlight is the National Youth Rally, which brings all Regions together to take part in all sorts of activities from sporting events, with Regions competing against each other, to games, fun races and discos.
Camping Club Youth members can also attend the International Youth Rally, held in a different European country each year, giving you the opportunity to travel abroad and meet Youth members from other countries.

Join The Camping and Caravanning Club today to benefit from over 100 years of expertise as well as specially selected discounts tailored to our members. As soon as you are a member you will be assigned to a District Association (DA). This will be the closest DA to where you live and shown on your membership card. You are then free to go camping with any of the 93 DA's over 13 Regions in the UK.
